KAMBAKTH ISHQ:
¨Kambakth Ishq¨ is going to be a romantic comedy about a stuntman who takes Hollywood by storm, but can´t find true love. Akshay Kumar will be playing the lead with Kareena Kapoor on his side for the seventh time in his filming career.
The film is directed by Sabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It will feature several Hollywood actors, including Denise Richardson who will be playing a love interest of Akshay and Sylvester Stallone. Arnold Schwarzenegger is also one of the big names involved in the movie alongside a sizzling act of Beyoncé Knowles.
If everything goes according to plan, the film be released December 2008.
CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA:
The film earlier known as ¨Mera Naam Chin Choo¨ and als ¨Made in China¨ is written by Sridhar Raghavan who also wrote ¨Khakee¨ (2004) and ¨Bluffmaster¨ (2005).
¨Chandni Chowk to China¨ is an action-comedy about a simple cook from Chandni Chowk mistaken for the reincarnation of an ancient peasant warrior Liu Sheng by residents of an oppressed Chinese village and stars Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. It will be the first Bollywood film produced by Warner Bros.
The film was set for a Diwali release but had to be postponed due to unfinished special effects.
BLUE:
Shipwreck and treasure being a part of the storyline, most of the filming will take place underwater. The filming is started in Summer 2008. All the actors of the film have undergone deep-sea Scuba diving training in Bangkok.
The film will star Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Zayed Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta and Suniel Shetty.
EIGHT BY TEN:
¨Eight By Ten¨ will be a thriller starring Akshay Kumar and Ayesha Takia. It is directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, and produced by Percept Picture Company. The film features Vinod Khanna, Sharmila Tagore, Javed Jaffrey and Anant Mahadevan in supporting roles. As of March 2008, the cast and crew is shooting in Calgary, Canada.
It was previously called ¨Tasveer¨, but changed due to the director's insistence that the title was jinxed.
INTERNATIONAL HERA PHERI:
¨International Hera Pheri¨ is the working title of the third installment of the Hera Pheri series of films. Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal are all confirmed to be returning, whilst the characters portrayed by Sharat Saxena, Rajpal Yadav and Om Puri in earlier installments are yet to be confirmed. Despite being the third installment, some sources title the film as Hera Pheri 4.
The only thing they made public of the story is, that this time Raju, Shyam and Baburao go abroad in the search for more money.
